Mardín H

Since his childhood organ music fascinates him. Thanks to his musical home, he soon received recorder and piano lessons. With puberty, the period of note-free improvisation began, emancipating himself from static reading to an intuitive approach to jazz. He also sings in small vocal ensembles and major well-known choirs in a music metropolis in Central Europe.

He also studied church music at a church conservatory. He then led a church choir (28 contributors) and a company choir (25 contributors) over a period of 6 years each. The performance of many concerts, liturgical arrangements (also with organ improvisation) and rehearsal weekends brought his pedagogical experience and stylistically confident performance practice to maturity. For over 17 years he has been a key member of the board of a renowned, 90-singers oratorio choir.

His current interest is increasingly in composing, the solo singing of jazz/funk/soul classics, the improvisation on organ/harpsichord and playing recorder pieces of Early Baroque works in a 15-member ensemble.
